When uploading an image into DTS Connex, you have two options as to where the Snap will appear: directly attached to the transaction or captured and displayed within Search Snaps.
Steps to attach a Snap to a Transaction:
- Log in to DTS Connex.
- Hover over Analyze and Report and select One Search.
- If you intend to attach a Snap to a Safe Count Transaction: Hover over Manage (instead of Analyze and Report) and select Search Safe Count.
- From the drop-down on the left side, select the type of transaction you wish to create a Snap for
- Once you have found the transaction to include a Snap, click view to see the details.
- At the top, select Take A Snap. This will generate a one-time QR code and give you the option to upload from a mobile device or computer.

- Log in to DTS Connex.
- Hover over Create and select Take a Snap.
- Select your location from the list.

NEW! Snaps QR Code for Manifest:
When using this feature, login is no longer required to take a Snap. For the QR Code for Manifest, the QR Code only needs to be generated one time. Once the QR code has been generated and printed, all you need to do is scan the QR code with your mobile device.
Steps to create a Snaps QR Code for Manifest:
- Log in to DTS Connex.
- Hover over Manage and select Manifest QR Codes.
- Select Add QR Code.
- Select the location this QR Code is for. NOTE: Only 1 QR code can be generated per location.
- Print or download the generated QR Code for future use.
Once the QR Code has been generated and placed in a strategic location, the QR code can be scanned with a mobile device to upload the image and have it automatically associated as a Snap of the Manifest.
